Approach To Therapy
Dr. Elias' approach to therapy is integrative. She focuses on helping individuals navigate their current situations, adapt to life changes, and deal with past issues by working with the whole person using a Biopsychosocial approach. In taking such an approach, Dr. Elias helps her clients to experience the satisfying relationships that each desires in a safe, nurturing, and open environment where clients can feel comfortable sharing.
Dr. Elias is a U.S. Navy Veteran and has experience working with military persons and their families as well as first responders to include fire and law enforcement personnel as well as other emergency service workers and their families. Additionally, Dr. Elias has experience working with certain court ordered and court self-referred clients.
Dr. Elias is licensed as a Registered Psychological Assistant (PSB 94024049). She works under supervision.
Education
Dr. Elias received her doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Forensic Studies, from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, one of the oldest accredited training institutions for psychologists in the United States. She also holds a Masters of Science degree in Psychology with emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy.
